Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR dated April 29, 1969 No. 314 “On accelerating complex supplies of technological equipment for foundry production” first mentioned the need to build a plant for standardized and special units of automatic foundry lines in the city of Pinsk.

In the first half of 1970, a construction site was selected, and in November, according to a resolution of the USSR Council of Ministers, the construction of the plant was included in the Ninth Five-Year Plan.

Order No. 312 dated November 18, 1971 "On the construction of a plant of unified and special units for foundry automatic lines."

Order No. 312 of the Minister of Machine Tool and Tool Industry of the USSR dated November 18, 1971 opens the chronicle of a huge construction project in the Western industrial hub of the city, which largely determined and continues to determine the fate of thousands of people.

By the end of 1974, the first launch complex was to be put into operation.

On December 30, 1974, an Act was signed certifying the commissioning of the objects of the first complex (the main and administrative buildings, a canteen).

In 1975, the plant was renamed the Pinsk Foundry Equipment Plant.

Since 1975, the plant has been producing automatic lines, mechanization kits for metal pressure casting.

Already in 1976, 21 types of technological foundry equipment were mastered, including eight new models that had not previously been produced in the country.

In 1978, a second launch complex was introduced.

In 1979, the plant was renamed into the Pinsk Production Association for the Production of Foundry Equipment (POLO).

Order No. 298 of July 18, 1985 on the merger of the two factories. The new enterprise was named "Pinsk production association for the production of forging and pressing and foundry automatic lines "Kuzlitmash".

Together with the BelNIIMSH plant, specialists developed a new direction in the development of the association and organized the production of agricultural machines.

In 1997, they produced unique presses for India. In 1998-1999, we developed three-block automatic lines for the production of radiators, program-controlled press brakes.

With the advent of Vladislav Alekseevich Nosov as director (1998–2001), PA Kuzlitmash was transformed into the Pinsk State Enterprise of Forging and Foundry Engineering "Kuzlitmash" (SE "Kuzlitmash"), and then into the Pinsk Republican Unitary Engineering Enterprise "Kuzlitmash" (RUMP "Kuzlitmash").

In November 2010, RUMP Kuzlitmash, already under the leadership of Yuri Alekseevich Leshchinsky (2009 - 2011), was transformed into an open joint-stock company Kuzlitmash.

In 2011, a new era of development began for the company.
By order of the Ministry of Industry dated March 2, 2011 No. 110, Kuzlitmash OJSC became part of the Belarusian Automobile Plant production association.

On the basis of Order No. 671 dated September 18, 2012, Kuzlitmash OJSC was included in the BELAZ-HOLDING holding with the management company of the holding, Open Joint Stock Company BELAZ.

Based on the results of work for 2012 and 2013, among industrial organizations and organizations of the fuel and energy complex, OJSC Kuzlitmash was included on the Pinsk City Honor Board for the first time in a long time.

Based on the results of work for 2017, 2018, among industrial organizations and organizations of the fuel and energy complex, OJSC Kuzlitmash was included on the Pinsk Honor Board.
